Administering Subcutaneous Fluids at Home

Subcutaneous fluids are often prescribed by veterinarians as a treatment for several reasons.  It is normal to feel a bit reluctant about giving your pet an injection at home, but is not as difficult as it may sound.

Below you will find helpful articles and videos on how to administer subcutaneous fluids at home to your dog or cat.  If for any reason you are unable to give the fluids at home, please bring your loved one in to our office to receive their fluids.
