Hospital Re-opening

Hospital Re-opening
May 21, 2021

Dear Clients,

We want to take this time to say thank you for your patience and understanding this last year when dealing with Covid-19 and all the restrictions we have had to face. We are excited to announce that starting June 1, 2021 we will begin the first stage in re-opening the hospital. Our main priority continue to be keeping our staff and clients safe.

With that in mind, our plan starting June 1st is to allow one client to be present during their pet's appointment. You can also choose to continue curbside service during your appointment if you are more comfortable with that. For end-of-life visits, we will allow two clients into the hospital. Once you call to check in and you would like to be present in the hospital for your appointment, we will meet you at the door and bring you into an exam room. We ask that you stay in the room during the appointment and during check out. For clients coming to pick up medication, food, or to drop off samples we will continue curbside service. If you are dropping off your pet for surgery, boarding, or other drop-off procedures we are allowing one client in the hospital to fill out paperwork and drop off your pet. When you come to pick up your pet, we are allowing one client in the hospital to finish the check-out process.

To limit the amount of people in the hospital at one time, we ask that you call the office when you arrive and our reception staff will provide you with further instructions.

To summarize, beginning June pt still plan to call the hospital upon arrival. One pet parent will be welcome to come into the hospital for appointments and drop-offs, with the exception of end-of-life visits where two clients are welcome to come in. Medication and food pickup will be available for curbside service only.

We will require all clients to wear a properly fitted face mask at all times while inside the hospital.

Thank you for your continued patience and understanding during these times. We will continue to update you regarding any changes to our procedures.
